The Inca Quarry Trail is a trek through the most beautiful Andean landscapes of Cusco. It is also known as the Cachicata Inca Trek. The name of Inca Quarry is due to the fact that this road takes us to the stone quarry, from where the Inca extracted the material to build their cities, fortresses and houses.
Inca's Quarry, Cachiccata
The Inca Quarry Trail trek also includes Machu Picchu, it is important to tell you that you do not get to Machu Picchu on foot, however you can opt for the option of combining the Inca Quarry Trail and the Inca Trail in our 5-day option.
This walk has few travelers, so you have an experience of tranquility and peace away from the city, ideal to find yourself and enjoy the wonderful Andean world of the Incas.
The “Chaski Road” (Chaski is the name of the Inca messengers who used these roads) is a great Trek option unknown by the other tour companies and also one of the 6 Alternative routes chosen by the National Geography to reach the mysterious Machu Pichu. You won't meet many people on the road but an incredible natural wealth, as well as wonderful Inca ruins (Perolniyoc) built at the top of the Socma community. We also have the best natural and cultural attractions along the walk, a very special area to feel in a paradise of nature. The magic that nature transmits to you is unique on the way of Inca quarry trail to Machu Picchu
Perolniyoc Ruins

On the third day we will arrive in Ollantaytambo, and then go by train to Aguas Calientes. There you can take the opportunity to take a refreshing bath in the hotsprings of this town.
The next day we will visit Machu Picchu very early, so that in the afternoon we will return to Cusco and to your hotel.
