The Salkantay mountain is one of the biggest mountain in the Peru Andes top and was recognized by National Geography as one of the best trek to get to Machu Pichu. The wonders offered all along the trek are incomparable even though it is use by many other agencies. We will try our best to make it an unforgettable memory for you.
Where Does The Hike Begin?
Our hike starts from soraypampa uphill to salkantay mountain. near this mountain we will have our camp near the majestic mountain with an unpredictable view towards the mountain and the stars during the night.
The Salkantay Route Goes With Horses.
The Salkantay road goes on horses, as an agency we have a team that supports us with the horses until the end of the hiking, this work is done with the Mollepata locals, which is the entrance of this Salkantay Trek to machupicchu.

You will have a meeting before the trip with our professional guide to give you detailled information, and also to help you if you need anything regarding the trek.
DAY 1: Cusco-Soraypampa-Soyrococha
Included today: Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch.
We will come early to pick you up at your hotel and head to the village of Mollepata, where we will take 30 minutes to rest before going to the bottom of the Salkantay mountain with the bus for an other hour.
After arriving at Soraypampa (3900m), we will get ready for the long walk awaiting for us.
We will start walking for an hour to Humantay, a wonderful lagoon down a mountain covered by snow. You will have time to explore and take pictures before going down to Soraypan to enjoy a delicious Andean meal that is cook by our special chef . after lunch caming rest like 30 minutes Full of energy, we will keep going for 4 hours we are going to see mountains and animal as donkys nad cows, berds local people living at 4200 metersand lettle by lettle we are gone to the campsite located in Soyrococha.

DAY 2: Soyrococha–Huayrac Machay-Collpapampa

After a nice and warm breakfast we are ready to new challenge, we will start walking on the Salkantay mountain (4600m) and get a breath-taking views over blue-coloured lagoons.
We will arrive to the Huayrac Machay pampa where we will take lunch with a wonderful view over Vilcanota Cordillera.
We will keep going for 3 hours after eating to reach the campsite of Collpapampa. Along the walk, you will see how the weather changes as well as bushes and wildlife.

DAY 3: Collpapampa –Playa-Lucmabamba

This part of the trek is way easier than the other days, going through vegetation like bamboo, with a very humid and warm weather. You will see many fruit plantation like coffee, avocado, oranges, banana, papaya, passion fruit, etc.
There is a lot of places but especially one community called Lucmabamba (3800m) that will teach you and show you how to grow and cook those fruits. We will then enjoy the view until reaching thermal baths (or medicinal baths) and go to our campsite.

DAY 4: Lucmabamba-Hydroeléctric-Aguas Calientes town

You will enjoy waking up in the middle of the jungle and listen to the birds before having a delicious breakfast. You will then start walking for 2 hours to Llactapata ( 2750m), where you will appreciate the Incan construction and be able to see one part of the ruins of Machu Pichu.
We will go down to the bottom of the moutain and go to hidroelectrica to get lunch. Later on we will jump on the train to arrive at Aguas Calientes where we will stay overnight before going to Machu Pichu the next day.

DAY 5: Aguas Calientes Town-Machupicchu-Cusco

We will wake up early to take the first bus in order to get to Machu Pichu to see the sunrise and take pictures.
Our tour will last approximately 2 hours inside the ruins but you will have free time after to explore the city on your own. We will then take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, then the train to Ollantaytambo and finally the last bus to get back to Cusco.
